A Father’s Day Tale From Spirit

As many of you who have worked with me know, my father has been in Spirit for 22 years. He died suddenly and unexpectedly in 1998 at the age of 64, when I was 25 years old. I was extremely close to my father from a human perspective, and still am very much so from a soul perspective. It was really his passing that began my journey working as a professions Psychic Medium

Less than ten years after he passed, I was getting something out of my closet and my “dad” box tipped and a card came out. I had a deck of Burlington Northern playing cards inside because he worked for the railroad before retiring. It was the King of Hearts card, and I said to myself “Aw Dad, you are the King of Hearts!”

A few years later, I met a friend (currently my best friend) at Arthur Findlay college in England where we both attended for mediumship training. Soon after, we went on a fun ghost tour trip in Texas.

This was the first time she brought through my dad. She said, “Your dad’s here, he says hello. He says you are the Queen of Hearts, no, he changes it to the Ace of Hearts!” That is my favorite validation I have ever received from another medium! I had never mentioned the card connection to her, or to anyone.

For many years (13) my dad has given me King of Hearts messages! If I am in a store, and there is a King of Hearts anywhere he guides me to it! It is a fun game we play! One time that same friend was visiting in Denver and we were having some fun shopping. Upon entering the shop, she said, “Your dad says there’s a King of Hearts in here and he wants me to buy it for you.” Sure enough, there was a small, ceramic king of hearts tray! It is one of my most cherished treasures!

Last week I was on my way to the store and I heard Spirit tell me to stop at the post and get stamps. I have listened to Spirit long enough to be able to discern my own thoughts from what belongs to my Guides, my loved ones in Spirit, or my clients’ people in Spirit! Needless to say, I did need stamps, so I listened!

While in line, I looked over at the cards, and right in front of me was a card with a King of Hearts on the front! Inside it said “Happy Father’s Day to the King of Hearts!” I laughed and of course bought the card! But that isn’t even the best part!

A few months earlier, during my annual birthday reading, my friend was bringing through my dad, and he thanked me for the card and said how much it meant to him! I was so confused at the time trying to figure out what he meant! Well, he knew I was going to get a card for him!

Our loved ones in Spirit love to give us signs, symbols and messages! It is actually quite easy for them, and they are masters at it! We just have to be good at listening so we don’t miss them!
